Former-Liverpool Player in Albania's Ranks

Astrit Ajdarevic is the latest arrival in the Albanian National Team. This news was confirmed by the AEK of Athens player during an interview given to the Albanian media.
“I decided to choose Albania after a careful assessment of the opportunities. This was a choice made with my heart, because I have played for Sweden until age of 21. The talks with Albania’s directors lasted more than two months. It was not an easy decision but I finally made up my mind,” said Ajdareviç.
Ajdareviç was born in Pristina but his origins are from Medvedja. The 27-years old midfielder, 1.82 meters tall, who has played with Liverpool, Leicester City and Standard Liege, is expected to join the Albanian team in the friendly match with Turkey.
