Two Publications Dedicated to Tefta Tashko Koco

The famous Albanian soprano Tefta Tashko Koco was commemorated through a special event in the framework of her 70th anniversary of death. The event was held in the Academy of Sciences “Aleks Buda” hall and was attended by researchers, art-lovers, academics and well-known political figures.

The participants were acquainted with moments from her life not only as a singer but also as a student, daughter, colleague, friend, wife and mother through the presentation of two publications “Tefta Tashko Ko?o, her family and her contemporaries in the images” which includes photos, correspondence and documents release by the press during that period of time and “Book with Manuscripts (1936-1945)”, prepared by her son, Eno Ko?o.

Tefta Tashko Koco was one of the most famous lyric singers of the 1930s, which holds the title “Honor of the Nation”. Her wonderful voice is now one of the most precious heritages of Albanian culture.
