Prime Minister Edi Rama addressed a direct question to the opposition’s leader Lulzim Basha during Thursday’s parliamentary session. His question was related to the presence of some Democrat MPs in Himara one day ago and the fact that they backed up the inhabitants protests against houses demolition.

“Which was the motive behind the DP presence one day ago in Himara? This political force should explain to the citizens the government’s violations in relation to the city’s re-qualification project. Why the Democrat MPs rushed to show up beside the Himara inhabitants after the publication of a letter addressed to the EU by the Greek opposition that infringes Albania’s interests?” said PM Rama, while inviting the Democrat leader Lulzim Basha to publicly answer to these questions.

In conclusion he labeled DP as a megaphone of the anti-Albanian propaganda aiming to hamper the country’s European integration process.
