This fact is underlined in the last report issued by the World Bank (WB) which speaks about the corruption index and the rule of law.
“Control of corruption captures perception of the extent to which public power is exercised for private gain including both petty and grand forms of corruption as well as state’s ‘capture’ by elites and private interests,” underlines the report evaluating Albania with -0.398.
Speaking about the rule of law in Albania, this report evaluates Albania with -0.347. Estimate gives the country’s score on the aggregate indicators in units of a standard normal distribution, i.e ranging from approximately -2.5 to 2.5.
