Which Parties Spent More for June 25th Elections?

The biggest political parties spent a sum of around ALL 250 million for their electoral campaign. The Central Elections Commission (CEC) made public on Wednesday the expenses made by the parties to advertise themselves during the electoral campaign.

Socialist Party (SP) ranks on the first place for the highest expenses during the electoral campaign for June 25th elections. This party spent a sum of around ALL 100 million on the last parliamentary elections for publicity, electoral offices, etc.

The Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) ranks at 2nd place with a sum of around ALL 88 millions spent for the electoral campaign while the third belongs to the opposition’s biggest political force, Democratic Party (DP) that has spent a sum of ALL 58 millions.

Meanwhile according to the CEC other smallers parties spent very low sums of money for their electoral campaign. Ben Blushi’s LIBRA for example spent only ALL 730.000 for the campaign.
