The member of Parliament, part of the Legal Issues, Public Administration and Human Rights Parliamentary Committee involved in harsh debates related the former-Minister of Interior Sajmir Tahiri issue during Wednesday's meeting. The Democrat MP Strazimiri referred to Tahiri when declaring that an incriminated individual wanders in parliament's hallways protected by the Socialists.
"The majority seems to forget that the parliament is a temple for honest men not a shelter for those wanted by the justice. You are protecting the mafia with state's expenses," declared Strazimiri, addressing to the majority's MPs.
In a quick response the Socialist MP, Ulsi Manja labeled Strazimiri's statement as a prearranged ritual of Democratic Party (DP).
After this debate the Democrat MPs abandoned the meeting leaving the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) MPs as the only representatives of the opposition in Law's committee.
