Greek Opposition Reacts over Houses Demolition in Himara

The Greek opposition reacted on Tuesday over the houses demolition by the National Inspectorate for Protection of Territory (NIPT) in Himara.
They urged to the Albanian Government to stop immediately this process considering it an action against the Greek minority in Albania.
Opposition made also a request to the Greek Government, asking to react on this issue as soon as possible. The Greek opposition requires negotiations over the houses in Himara.
At the same time, the protesters who object the house demolition in Himara, waved the Greek flag while shouting in Albania and Greek language claiming for the violation of their rights as Greek minority. They have labeled the entire process as a genocide claiming that no indemnification is foreseen in accordance to the law. A few days ago they even refused to sit in the negotiations table with the Minister of Infrastructure and Energetic Damian Gjiknuri who arrived in Himara as representative of the government.
