Not all are equal in front of the law in Albania. From years now, everyone that buy something more expensive than EUR 22 from another state must pay customs fee.
But this is not an obligation for the Members of Parliament.
Some 43 MPs through an authorization by the Parliament, did not pay any obligation, based on the law.
Those who used this law facilitation during their mandate are the MPs, Florjon Mima, Eduard Halimi, Gent Strazimiri, Nard Ndoka, Roland Keta, Arben Cuko, Sadri Abazi, Bedri Hoxha, Ylli Shehu, Vladimir Kosta, etc.
During 2015, 14 MPs made the same thing. Those were, Vasilika Hysi, Erjeta Alhysa, Erion Brace, Irma Kopliku, Astrit Patozi, Anduel Xhindi, Flamur Noka, Liljana Elmazi, Oerd Bylykbashi or Edi Paloka.
