"HVG", one of the most popular Hungarian economic and political magazine, published a reportage from Tirana covering the "Tahiri's case", pointing out the fact that an Albanian politician has never been under investigation for criminal allegation like now. The article draws a comparison with the investigation by the Italian prosecutors of Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic in 2008, accused of promoting cigarette smuggling to Italy. Djukanovic testified for six hours, and then the procedure was terminated. Whether the investigation of former minister Tahiri will have the same destiny is too soon to say. The article stresses the importance of this case for the implementation of promised Justice reform in Albania.
