'Mio's Days' Bring Domestic and International Painters in Korça

Numerous painters from different countries of the world joined this year’s edition of ‘Mio’s Days’, a cultural activity that is usually organized on October in the south-eastern city of Korça. This activity that is seen as one of the main cultural events of the year related to the figurative arts aims not only to establish communication bridges between artists but also to promote the city’s values.
The participating painters works, realized during several days, will represent their impressions of the nature in Korça’s tourist areas and the city’s alleys and characteristic districts. Their creations will be then exposed to the public in a special exhibition that will follow this cultural activity.
The Korça born painter Vangjush Mio was the first impressionist artist in Albania. He is mostly known for his panoramas and is defined as the most perfect master of panoramas in Albania during the 20th century.
