The former-Minister of Interior Sajmir Tahiri has been subpoenaed by the Serious Crimes Prosecution to testify in relation to the Habilaj clan issue. The prosecution's subpoena addressed to Tahiri on Friday follows a house-inspection conducted one day ago in his apartment by 4 prosecutors of the Serious Crimes.
The date when Tahiri will be questioned by the prosecutors in relation to this issue has not yet been defined. However this is something that is expected to happen within a few days.
Earlier it was Tahiri himself who addressed to the Serious Crimes Prosecution through a letter submitted by his lawyers asking to be questioned about this issue and the charged pressed against him for the alleged involvement in international drugs trafficking.
