Rama Invites UAE Investors in Albania

The Prime Minister Edi Rama held a working visit at the United Arab Emirates to meet Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
During this meeting, PM Rama emphasized the need of promoting economic cooperation between the two countries and invited the entrepreneurs of the United Arab Emirates to invest in Albania, a press release from Premier's cabinet informed Tuesday.
Albanian Prime Minister expressed his government's desire to extend new cooperation between the two countries and seize opportunities available to develop and enhance mutual cooperation for the benefit of the two parties, stressing the possibility of his country's use of UAE expertise, especially in the field of infrastructure, aviation and ports.
The interlocutors discussed even on the possibility of establishing an air line of the United Emirates that connects the two countries, PM's office informed.
On his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum thanked the head of government of Albania for the visit while he also expressed readiness to stimulate investments from United Arab Emirates in Albania.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed discussed with PM Rama bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in light of the opportunities available to both sides, especially in the tourism, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. He also emphasized the UAE's keenness on welcoming friendly countries that want to build partnerships between them.
PM Rama was accompanied by Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati and a group of MPs.
Present were also Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, and other senior officials.
