Not all the small businesses will pay the Valued Added Tax (VAT) from January 2018.
The Minister of Economy, Arben Ahmetaj informed on Tuesday that the businesses with a annual turnover until ALL 2 Million will not be part of VAT regime.
So far Government declared that all small businesses, which are considered those up to ALL 5 Million will be part of VAT regime.
"This mean that small markets of the municipalities, craftsmen, etc will not be involved in the VAT scheme. Actually, 70.000 businesses are out of this scheme, and with the new changes, only 9000 will be part of VAT regime, 61.000 others will be excluded due to their low level of turnover below ALL 2 million," informed Ahmetaj.
