Tahiri Letter to Prosecutors, Asks to Be Subpoenaed

He is becoming stronger and stronger. Former Socialist Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri seemed that has passed the first 'shock' after Prosecution of Serious Crimes asked from the Parliament to remove his immunity and allow his arrest for the accusation of drugs trafficking and corruption last Thursday.
He sent a letter on Tuesday to this institution asking to accelerate the inquiring process and to be subpoenaed for questioning and explanations on any fact that will be deemed as valuable by this institution.
"My request is related not only to the Constitutional warranties but also to the position of the person currently subject of inquiry who aims to clear the path to the truth in relation to those charges, writes Tahiri in his letter to the prosecutors
