The secret proof against former-Minister of Interior Sajmir Tahiri which the Serious Crimes Prosecution pretended of being in possession results a bluff. Prosecutor Besim Hajdaramataj requested a closed door meeting of the Council on the Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity on Saturday for the presentation of a new secret proof provided by the Italian authorities.
Instead the only proof presented by the prosecution was the testimony given by a police officer who claimed that Habilaj brothers had told him while sitting in the same table that they were blood-related with Tahiri and he was involved in the international drugs smuggling.
Tahiri's lawyer, Artan Hajdari labeled this so-called secret proof a hear-say that lacks any legal basis.
