The Constitutional Institution was defined as the state’s most authoritative institution by Prime Minister Edi Rama during a speech in the framework of this court’s 25th anniversary. While addressing to the participants in a conference organized on Friday in occasion of this anniversary he emphasized that this institution has generated credibility by issuing impartial verdicts.

“If there’s a state institution where you may enter without feeling ashamed this is the Constitutional Court. This court has been forced to deal with numerous important issues within a short period of time always trying to hold an impartial position. It is not common in the life of a state’s institution to gain citizens sympathy and popular support. The Constitutional Court achieved this through an historic decision like the one related to the maritime pact with Greece.

The chief of executive stated that justice is a word used often inappropriately by the politicians while expressing his firm certitude that Albania will manage to win the battle for an independent justice system.
