Serious Crimes Inquiry on Habilaj Brothers Assets

The Serious Crimes Prosecution opens inquiry on the Habilaj brothers’ assets. This inquiry follows the arrest of Moisi Habilaj three days ago by the Italian police as the head of a drugs trafficking network.

The Habilaj brothers have a legal activity in the fruit and vegetables sector but according to the prosecutors their incomes fail to justify their level of life. They are also the cousins of former-Minister of Interior, Sajmir Tahiri whose name in mentioned in the tapings made public by the Italian authorities raising suspicions for ties with narcotics trafficking.
