The British Ambassador in Tirana Duncan Norman declares that 60% of Albanian emigrants in UK arrive from 3 northern districts.

“Some 60% of Albanian emigrants that are monitored by the British authorities due to their ties with organized crime come from three northern regions: Kukes, Dibra and Shkodra. These areas occupy around 15% of country’s population,” stated the British diplomat during a visit on Wednesday in Dibra.

The British ambassador also emphasized the necessity for cooperation enhancement between the Albanian and British authorities in the fight against criminality.
