The chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi accepted the invitation of the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha for a roundtable to discuss the further actions of the opposition against organized crime.
Reacting over the involvement of the former minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri, on the wiretapping of the arrested for drugs trafficking in Italy, Moisi Habilaj, Kryemadhi denounced that Tahiri is just one of the many other implicated with crime within government.
"SMI is ready to fight corruption and crime with the citizens in Albania. Saimir Tahiri is just one of the many involved in the organized crime and drugs trafficking, there are many more in Rama's governance. Political cooperation is a duty that has been imposed on us by citizens with their vote. We will bring our mission to the end. We need to get all together. SMI supports the position of PD leader, Lulzim Basha for a joint action against crime in power," reacted Kryemadhi.
