The attempt made by the former Socialist Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri to meet the Attorney General, Adriatik Llalla on Tuesday failed.

Albaniannews.com learned that Llalla refused to meet Tahiri recently accused by the opposition of ties with the drug trafficker Moisi Habilaj who was arrested yesterday in Italy.

Tahiri is a 'suspected person' for the arrested criminal gang in Italy so the meeting with Llalla can’t take place.

The meeting was requested by Tahiri on view of the latest accusations addressed to him by the opposition for ties between him and the drug trafficker arrested in Italy, Moisi Habilaj.

A wiretapping published by the Italian media where Habilaj says the must give a sum of EUR 30.000 to Tahiri was also expected to be part of this meeting topics of discussion.
