The European Integration Committee meeting on Tuesday was characterized by debates between Democrat MP, Genc Pollo and the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati. A comment made by Bushati toward Pollo led to replies and insults between them.
"He seems to be thinking that a Hollywood director will come to Albania with a purpose of realizing a movie on the organized crime," said the minister, causing a harsh reaction by the Democrat MP.
In a quick response Pollo asked Bushati if Moisi Habilaj, the former-Minister of Interior Sajmir Tahiri cousin, arrested yesterday in Italy as the head of a drug-trafficking network, would be a possible protagonist of this movie.
'I don't allow you to insult me! I am here in quality of minister! You must respect the ethics even if my answers do not please you!" said Bushati addressing to Pollo.
After that Bushati left the meeting while asking Pollo to beg pardon for this insult. The latest responded by calling him a thug that provoked a debate through his attitude.
