Helidon Xhixha, Albanian Artist that Decorates Italian Airports

The renowned Albanian artist Helidon Xhixha is successfully continuing his career through a series of participations in different exhibitions around the world. Recently the talented Albanian sculptor became a protagonist through 9 really special sculptures that raised public interests after being placed in Pisa’s airport. Three of them are carved in marble while the rest are made of hard-steel.

The sculptures have been exposed in the framework of “Volare-Art” new edition, an event promoted by Henraux Foundation and Tuscan’s Airport. Two more sculptures realized by Xhixha have also been placed in Florence’s airport as part of this initiative.

Xhixha, who currently lives between Milan and Dubai, is deemed as one of the best modern artists. His work has been subject of articles published by prestigious media like “The New York Times”, “The Guardian” and “CNN”.
