The leader of the opposition, Lulzim Basha reacted on Monday after the arrest in Italy of one of the persons that this political party accuses for drug trafficking in collaboration with former Minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri.
Basha declared that DP denounced years ago the connections of Tahiri with Habilaj, adding that the last is the cousin of former minister.
"Italian Police arrested the boss of a drug traffic from Albania, Moisi Habilaj. DP denounced earlier, the connections of this clan with the government. The famous vehicle Audi of the former minister Tahiri, was used by Habilaj. Premier Rama arrested police officer Dritan Zagani who denounced this connections.
Only the charge caught by the Italian police is worth EUR 20 million. What have they done during the last 4 years? How much money did the traffickers circulate with Tahiri's support and the protection of Rama? This is the mafia and these are her connections with Edi Rama," denounced Basha.
