The 11th edition of 'Musical Encounters between Two Worlds' Festival continued its path in Shkodra's 'Migjeni' theater after raising the curtains in Dropull. This cultural event created a very beautiful atmosphere while conveying the message of using different cultures as bridges of cultural dialogue between people. The public was introduced with a combination of Shkodra’s traditional music with the classical music.
Initially it was the turn of "Migjeni" ensemble singers Mukades Çanga and Rezarta Smaja accompanied by the ensemble’s instrumentalists to dazzle the audience with a number of traditional songs.
Afterwards, the Art and Culture Club Orchestra led by conductor Ermir Dizdari restored the Albanian opera tradition with Prenk Jakova, and then with the world music such as Shtrauss, Bach, Mozart, etc.
According to the festival’s director Ilda Mara the purpose of this activity is to promote the Albanian and European material and abstract heritage.
The 11th edition of “Musical Encounters between Two Worlds” Festival will lower the curtains on October 31 in Tirana.
