'Eurydice' play, part of the American dramaturgy contemporaneous repertoire, will “raise the curtains” of the Metropolis Theater new artistic season. This play written by Sara Ruhl comes on stage under the direction of Jonida Beqo. The particularity in this case is the fact that the play will be presented to the drama-lovers in “The Pyramid’ premise.

“Eurydice” brings on stage the known actor Niko Kanxheri along the director Beqo and actors like Armela Demaj, Amri Hasanlliu, Ermir Jonka, Edvin Mustafa, Klea Konomi and Klesta Shero.
The director has chosen to bring on stage not only the story of Orpheus love with Eurydice, but also many other contemporary elements.

“It is a warm and poetic play, which although it essentially includes elements of antiquity and relies on the myth of history, essentially deals with human relationships and human sacrifices for the sake of love, not just romantic couple love but also family love and universal,” said director Beqo.

The play will come on stage with really particular scenery while dances will also be part of the performance.
