Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and National Tourism Agency will organize a joint two-day seminar in Tirana on October 14 and 15 aiming to promote tourism in Albania.
About 10 representatives of the Japanese tour agencies will meet their Albanian counterparts in a working group which will gather to exchange ideas and information on ways how to promote further Albanian tourism in Japan.
Thanks to this bilateral cooperation, the number of Japanese visitors to Albania is expected to get increased over the coming years.
The event carries in its agenda even a visit to the main tourist spots in Berati and Tirana as well as a visit to the “?obo” winery so that the representatives of the agencies can taste the good wine that is produced there.
On his part, Japanese ambassador to Albania Makoto Ito is expected to meet the delegation so that to convey in person the message of Albania’s great potential in the field of tourism.
