Pogradec, Two NFA Inspectors Arrested for Abuse of Duty

Two National Food Authority inspectors in Pogradec were arrested on Tuesday on grounds of abuse of duty. Feridon Ibi, 55, and Dashamir Çaushi 63 forged a sanitary report while in service near Qafe Thana custom avoiding the excise payment for a quantity of 4600 kilogram of grape by Vangjel Teodor, 62. The latest was also arrested in flagrance in Qafe Thana - Pogradec axis while transporting the above mentioned quantity of merchandize with a van platted PG 4046B.

Preliminary verification's indicates that two NFA inspectors alienated the merchandise type favoring the businessman. They will now face trial on charges of abuse of duty, documents forgery, merchandise smuggling and excise avoidance.
