Albania - Italy, Roads to Be Blocked

A number of roads are expected to be blocked in Shkodra at the eve of Albania - Italy match on Monday evening. This is part of a detailed measures plan drafted by Shkodra police directory to guarantee the security ahead and after the match.

The police informed the Shkodra citizens and the Albanian National Team fans arriving from other cities that vehicles circulation and parking in the nearby streets to the stadium will be forbidden.

City’s ring-way, both in the western and eastern sides, will be used for vehicles circulation and parking while being constantly monitored by the patrols, the police reported.

Meantime the following areas will be used as parking space in the framework of this match

‘Mehmet Shpendi’ square

‘Arben Broci’ street situated along the Industrial High School

The railway station square

The ‘fire-woods field’ square in the eastern ring-way

Meantime the vehicles parking will be forbidden since 08:00 am of Monday in the following roads:

‘Bujar Bishanaku’ street

The western ring-way, from ‘Bajram Curri’ street to ‘Ibrahim Rugova’ street

‘Muhamet Dibra’ street

‘Zyhdi Rrepishti’ street

The police also informs the fans that the entrance in the stadium will start on 17:00 in order to avoid confusion, despite the fact that the match kicks off at 20:45.
