Albanian Arrested in Malaysia on Terrorism, Identity Unveiled

The name of an Albanian lecturer arrested in Malaysia on grounds of terrorism was made public on Monday by the State Police. His name is Klodian Zaimaj, alias Ibrahim Zaimaj, while his arrest was based on presumed ties with Abbu Sayyaf terrorist group, the police reported.

According to the police Zaimaj lived since 8 years in Malaysia after completing the university studies in this country and worked as lecturer. Preliminary inquiries indicate that Zaimaj was in charge of recruiting young students on behalf of ISIS.
