Thomas Strakosha will not be ready for the two matches that the Albanian National Team will hold on 6 and 9 October against Spain and Italy. The Albanian goalkeeper suffers from a muscle injury in the left thigh thus is forced to return to his Italian club, Lazio, for a series of rehabilitation sessions.
Coach Christian Panucci summoned Kukes goalkeeper Enea Koliçi to replace this absence. Koliçi has already joined the team and is taking part in the training sessions.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has made some excellent appearances with the Northeastern team helping them to win the championship title last season. Koliçi's name was rumored since a long time as one of the goalkeeper that might join the National Team and finally his dream become a reality.
