'8 Women', a black comedy written in 1958 by Robert Thomas arrives in Tirana under the direction of Driada Dervishi. This comedy came on the National Theater stage last night after being successfully presented in ‘KoKo’ Comedy Festival in Korça. Yllka Mujo won “The Best Actress” award while Olta Daku that of “The Best Non-Protagonist Actress” in this festival thanks to their brilliant performance in this play.

The comedy brings on stage a brilliant cast of actresses like Yllka Mujo, Olta Daku, Zamira Kita, Rajmonda Bulku, Merita Çoçoli, Klodjana Keco, Blerta Belliu, Ilda Pepi and Paola Kodra.

“Despite the fact that only females are seen on stage feminism is absolutely not the main topic of the play’s subject. This is mystery-comedy which presents 8 different characters, 8 different psychologies which unfold the female’s interior world,” said director Dervishi.

She underlined that generations’ interaction is the key of success in this play.
