TAP Endorses 4th Edition of Comedy Festival in Korca

The 4th edition of "KoKo Fest" festival of comedy that was held in Korça was financially endorsed by the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).
Over the course of a week, "Andon Zako Çajupi" theater in Korça has hosted theater troupes from Albania, Kosovo and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. A total of 7 comedies played by more than 55 actors were staged for the public during this festival.
Art and Culture Center Director Zamira Kita thanked TAP for the support given to this festival and the culture in general in Korça district.
"In addition to helping us to organize this fourth edition of the festival, TAP has become a cultural partner in Albania. TAP's investment which enabled the establishment of a museum in memory of the renowned Korça photographer Gjon Mili is another element worth to be mentioned. This museum is very important for promoting culture in Korça," said Kita.
TAP Director for Albania, Shkëlqim Bozgo praised the festival while adding that TAP is supporting a number of projects that improve the lives of residents in all the municipalities crossed by the pipeline.
"We believe that culture is a very important element in improving the lives of citizens and therefore we are happy to have supported a range of cultural activities and projects," said Bozgo.
A series of awards for the Best Actor, Best Director and Best Performer were also given in the festival's final night. These prizes were awarded to the artists from the Ministry of Culture, Mirela Kumbaro, Korça Mayor, Sotiraq Filo and TAP Director for Albania, Shkëlqim Bozgo.
"The show goes wrong' play staged by Skopje's theater was awarded "The Best Play" prize while "The Best Director" award was given to Qendrim Rijani. Yllka Muja won "The Best Actress' prize while Luan Jaha was given 'The Best Protagonist' award.
