Tirana, Blitz Inspection in Public Transportation

Some 90 drivers were fined on grounds of informality during a blitz inspection in the public transport on Wednesday in Tirana.

The road police inspection targeted the buses, taxis and other vehicles used without a proper license for children transportation to school. Furthermore, these vehicles do not stop in the terminals defined by the Roads Owner Entity and violate the criteria and conditions of public transport.

The Road police also informed that 25 fines were imposed to drivers for transporting children without fastening the seatbelt or other violations of the roads code.

The Road Police blitz raid in public transportation is still ongoing throughout the capital.
