The Albanian tenor Saimir Pirgu and the baritone Gezim Myshketa will soon perform together in Naples “San Carlo” grandiose theater. Internationally renowned Albanian artists will be alternated during all the evenings of “Simon Boccanegra” opera of Giuseppe Verdi from October 7 to October 14. Pirgu returns to the Neapolitan stage with the role of Gabrielle Adorno after successfully performing in other operas during the past seasons of "San Carlo", while the baritone Myshketa debuts for the first time in this theater with the role of Paolo Albiani.

The last time that two artists, linked by an early friendship, were involved together in the realization of a lyric work dates back to 2011 in the theater of the Italian capital, "Teatro dell'Opera di Roma".

Pirgu just ended a few days ago an excellent presentation with Traviata at the "Colon Theater" in Buenos Aires, where he performed together with Ermonela Jaho. Meanwhile, Myshketa ended the last season as the first soloist at the State Opera in Stuttgart and is now expected to perform in many prestigious scenes.
