The renowned Albanian violin player, Shkelzen Doli, currently part of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, enchanted the Albanian public last weekend through a live concert in Tirana. ‘The Albanian Soul’ concert was organized in Scanderbeg square and saw the presence of numerous musicians from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Vienna.

Doli played music for every spectator and music-lover present in the square realizing a grandiose concert. The Albanian melodies prevailed most of the time while the classical music of countries like Argentine or Spain was also part of the repertoire.

Special guests like the Vienna Philharmonic flute player, Walter Auer, the violinist Sebastian Bru and piano player Luca Monti, brought for the first time the classical music in “Scanderbeg” square in the same format as that of great concerts organized in their countries.

One of the most known contemporaneous opera singers, Miriam Tola was also part of this concert.

This was Shkelzen Doli’s 2nd concert in Tirana this year, following the one on 2 January with a group that included several members of the Vienna Philharmonic Ensemble.
