A group of former-politically persecuted started a 24-hours hunger strike on Saturday in front of the Former-Persecuted Institution. A request for full indemnification by the government is the motive behind this extreme action.

“The government should keep the promise made to this category of citizens for a full indemnification, sheltering and pensions. We will address to the US Embassy if government’s representatives do not sit with us in the negotiations table,” declared the ex-persecuted

The participants in the hunger strike also signed a petition asking for the Ex-Persecuted Association chair, Bilal Kola immediate resignation due to the abuses with the association’s funds.
