Over 75km out of 215km of land route crossing the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in Albania has returned to the former state and is being re-used by landowners.
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline project, TAP, has officially started since June, the process of landing and handing over to land owners taken into use for pipeline construction.
This process was foreseen at the beginning of the TAP project. Already the agricultural land corridor temporarily taken into use for the construction of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline has already turned a significant part into previous situation in Fier area, where the works have been completed. For this process, the TAP pipeline has followed the best international practices so that the productive quality of land is preserved as well as the land is ready to be sown by the owners and the users.
