Road Police Blitz Raid, 9 Arrested

Some 9 drivers were arrested during a blitz raid conducted in the last 24-hours by Tirana and Kavaja road police. This raid, which was simultaneously conducted in both cities, aimed to increase the road’s security parameters.

Two of the arrested drivers, Sokol L. 48 and D.B. 36 were caught in flagrance while driving the vehicle under the effects of alcohol.

Meantime the remaining 7 were arrested for driving their motorcycles without a driving license.

Ramazan B. 60, Ali D. 49, Shkelzen Canaj, 42, Misir J. 29, Erald Sh, 26, Viktor M. 58, and Altin S. 44 were arrested for driving their motorcycles without license.

The Tirana and Kavaja road police, that aims to punish irresponsible drivers and prevent possible accidents, is still underway.
