The Skanderbeg Square has become part of the world's largest architects and designers forum, the Chicago Architecture Biennale.
Tirana Mayor, Erion Veliaj, was in Chicago, United States of America, where he presented the Skanderbeg Square project, which was considered as the most unique architecture.
Veliaj described the Skanderbeg Square as a fantastic opportunity to be proud, while stressing that the implementation of this project has transformed this space from one of the most polluted areas in a very useful space for pedestrians.
"This is the first time that Tirana participates in this Biennale," said Veliaj.
Meanwhile, the Art Director of the Chicago Architecture Biennial, Mark Lee, described Skanderbeg Square as one of the most special projects exhibited in this biennial, where architects and urban designers from around the world can learn a lot, not only from the architectural values, but also transmitted messages.
"One of the most special and very important expositions for us, was that of Skanderbeg Square in Tirana, led by 51 architects, along with Anri Sala," said Lee.
