Some of the latest projects of Tirana City Hall were presented in Tel Aviv, Israel, as part of the organization of the Cities Summit. Albania's capital participated and chaired this activity with cities such as Frankfurt and Warsaw, while the summit was attended even by Mayor Erion Veliaj.
The car-parking through SMS, "My Tirana" application, and transformations in favor of children like toys, kindergartens and schools, as well as urban projects like New Bazaar or soft loan housing policies were some of the projects presented during this summit.
During his visit to Israel Mayor Veliaj was received by the historic Mayor of Tel Aviv City Council, Ron Huldai, after which he also paid a visit to the Municipality of Jerusalem where he met with his counterpart, Nir Barkat. Mayor Barkat expressed satisfaction with the meeting with Veliaj and praised the possibility of cooperation between the two cities in the field of education and innovation.
