Aiming to promote the value of the cultural heritage of the Albanian people, the Bank of Albania will bring to the public during the month of September some very unique ethnographic objects.
The objects presented in the bank's museum, which belong to the bank's collection, are three gunpowder containers and a cartridge pouch, mainly used in the south of Albania.
These objects were forged with alloy and made by jewelers from Janina in the XIX century. The Museum of the Bank of Albania was opened in the 30th of October 2015 and has become since then quite an attraction for both Albanian and foreign visitors.
It is placed inside the central bank's building which is located in the main square of the capital, and has been conceived as a merging between a museum and didactics.
