Another priority was added to the list of the State Police.
After a judge was killed in one of the most popular areas in the capital on Thursday, State Police General Director Haki Çako defined the fight against domestic violence as a priority of police work this Friday.
In a meeting with police directors of all the districts he asked them to increase the efforts for the prevention of similar episodes.
“Any possible conflict, any revival of previous conflicts, keeping under scrutiny persons who tend to be criminal in this regard should be evidenced through the police work. Despite the extraordinary volume of work this is another priority that we need to contribute even more, not only in terms of identification and punishment, but also in terms of awareness increase,” said Çako.
