'Villages Infrastructure, Priority of Tirana City Hall'

The Pėllumbas village center and the entrance path have been completely transformed, turning this area into one of the most beautiful Albanian eco-tourism spots that will attract enough domestic and foreign tourists. Tirana Mayor, Erion Veliaj, attended on Thursday the ceremony which marked the completion of one of the most important interventions in Pėllumbas tourist complex that paves the way to a new phase of adventure tourism in Tirana.

He declared that similar investments are a great opportunity for these areas development.

“We need people who when they see a problem, also see an opportunity. Only a few months ago this area only the most adventurous tourists could reach this area while now there has been a radical change,” said Veliaj.

The Mayor also informed the journalists that rural infrastructure improvement will be among the city hall’s priorities during the next two years.

“We will be maximally focused on the villages’ infrastructure working with the same commitment as we did in the Scanderbeg square. Only then we may say that the city is functioning in the proper way,” declared the Mayor.
