Majlinda Kelmendi, the New Star of World Judo

Kosova Judoka Majlinda Kelmendi was given the title of "Best Female Judoka Today" by the Judo's International Federation. This important title was awarded to the Olympic champion on Sunday evening in Budapest, Hungary , ahead of the Judo's World Championship as a reward for her brilliant career.
Through a brief greeting speech Kelmendi thanked her coach Driton Kuka while adding that this was the most important trophy of her career.
"A special thank you to the man that transformed me into a champion, my coach Driton Kuka. You all know my story. My career started in Kosovo. I managed to win every possible trophy. This night's award may be considered as 'The Everest'. I can't ask for more," said Kelmendi.
The renown judoka thanked also the Judo's International Federation president, Marius Vizer for the support given to Kosovo.
