Police officials in Greece were alarmed after discovering that a new drug named salvia, which has been the cause of many deaths in Europe, has entered its borders.
The drug trafficker is a 31 year old Albanian citizen. He was arrested in "Lavrio", Athens, after police found 24 grams of the dangerous drug hidden inside the car's air conditioner.
Salvia is a psychoactive drug extracted by a plant with the same name, mainly produced in the Oaxaca province in Mexico.
In the last couple of years it's started being used in Europe as well. Salvia causes strong hallucinations, which is why it's been coined as the "soul traveler".
Its users while in a hallucinogenic state believe they can fly and have been known to jump off tall buildings.
