Italy, 3 Albanians Arrested in Prostitution Bust

Three Albanians who had established a large prostitution network in Italy were arrested on Friday by the police.
Endrit Gjella, 34, Dritan Taço, 23 and Anxhela Avdiraj, 20 were handcuffed on grounds of prostitution exploitation. After getting young girls from Albania and Romania to Italy for tourist purposes they exploited them for prostitution purposes.
The network was coordinated by Gjella, who despite being in prison, asked his subordinates to bring other girls from Albania and Romania, the Italian police reported.
The 20-years old Avdiaj played a key role in this illicit affair by persuading the young girls to exercise prostitution promising them large financial benefits.
Three arrested Albanians will now face trial charged of instigation to prostitution and minors exploitation.
