Fires, Army's Troops Provide Assistance to Firefighters

The Army’s troops fight against wildfires raging the country’s territory continues uninterruptedly. The latest data released by the Ministry of Defense show that some 320 troops, 10 4x4 vehicles, and 14 firefighting vehicles have been deployed in the most problematic areas.

The Albanian Armed Forces (AAF) battled for hours with the flames in Dajti Mountain, Llogara and Krasta forest areas.

The Ministry of Defense informs that the army’s troops remain in alert ready to help the firefighters to prevent the fires situation from getting worst.
