Elections, 7000 Police Forces to Be Deployed on June 25

Some 7.000 police officers will guarantee the order and security during the electoral process of June 25. The technical Minister of Internal Affairs, Dritan Demiraj unveiled this figure on Monday during a meeting with the Head of OSCE-ODIHR observers, Peter Tejler and his 2nd in command, Polyna Lemos.
According to Demiraj the above mentioned police officers have been properly trained for their specific duties during this process while special dispositions have already been given to three local directories in the districts.
The ambassador Tejler presented the role of 250 OSCE-ODIHR observers in the monitoring and reporting process. He stressed that monitoring in the last week will be more intensive and a day after the elections will come up with a preliminary report.
