The last week's matches in the Swiss Super League ended in the best possible way for Lugano of Tramezzani and Sadiku that officially secured the Europe League. Despite losing home with a 0-1 score against Lucerne, Lugano was helped by Sion's draw at home with Grasshoppers, remaining in the third place in the rankings.
Sadiku played the entire 90 minutes but failed to score. However, the final whistle blow marked the beginning of celebrations for the Albanian National Team striker.
Lugano may be defined without any shadow of doubt a fairy-tale of the football world because when Paolo Tramezzan took the lead on January the team was approaching the ranking’s cold zone. No one would have ever imagined that a team which ranked at the last place after 18 matches would make a championship performance in the 2nd half of the season going up the third place.
