Armando Sadiku remains a protagonist in Swiss Super-League after his team’s Lugano 2-1 victory last weekend in the difficult match against Young Boys that ranks at 2nd place.

The Albanian National Team attacker gave the assist for the first goal scored by Macedonia’s Albanian player, Ezgjan Alioski and then became the author of the 2nd goal in the first minutes of 2nd half.

This victory shortened to only three points Lugano’s distance from the 4th pace, raising hopes for a place in the European Cups. Sadiku and Alioski were the absolute protagonists of this positive moment experienced by Lugano, who passed from the efforts to avoid the so-called “Cold Zone” to the race for a place in the European Cups.

Sadiku was transferred to Lugano last January through repeated request by the Albanian National Team former-Vice Coach, Paolo Tramezzani, currently Lugano’s coach. The Elbasan born attacker is the author of 7 goals and two assists so far, becoming one of the Swiss team most important players.
